Provectus Remediation Ltd
Provectus have been providing soil and groundwater remediation, both in-situ and ex-situ for brownfield redevelopment for >26 years and carry the necessary accreditations and Environmental Permits (Mobile Treatment License). Our tremendous strength and breadth of environmental expertise means that no matter how large or complex the environmental issues faced by business, we can provide truly seamless environmental solutions. Our in-house geo-environmental specialists design, install, operate and manage the full process of contamination remediation.
Our teams have worked on former gas works, paint and pigment factories, depots, former railway land (sidings, engine sheds), steelworks, chemical works, landfills, military land, Channel Tunnel Rail Link (HS1) sites, the Commonwealth Games site and many more. We own and operate an Environment Agency licensed Soil Treatment Centre (STC) in the West Midlands which is the only one in the UK able to accept materials impacted with both hydrocarbons and asbestos contamination.
We offer materials management planning (MMP) and solutions promoting recycling, recovery and re-use, signed off by the appropriate Qualified Person (QP). We always look to minimise material disposal, instead treating soils to make them suitable for use.
We complete our soil and groundwater remediation services often as part of an enabling works package which we implement for the creation of a development platform for future construction.
Much of our work is undertaken on a Lump Sum All Risk/ Fixed Price basis.
We design and build our own groundwater treatment systems and have built up a large knowledge of which systems and solutions are actually the most suitable for a particular hydro-geological situation based on experience and not just theory. We operate nationally but have a strong presence in the Midlands and South of England.
All our staff are very highly trained and experienced with a staff turnover rate of <5%.
Working in the Construction Industry we take the Health, Safety and Well-being of our staff very seriously and as such have in place policies and procedures to ensure all staff know that they are individually an important part of the success of the company and to achieve this they must be healthy, fit and well and able to do their work each and every day.
Continuous staff training is a significant part of the business, to ensure best practise and to be certain all our staff are aware of the latest and best techniques whether it's simple manual handling or asbestos training or bespoke training for the specialist plant and procedures we employ. We often work on some of the UKs most sensitive sites (operational petrochemical sites) and as such have to be able to demonstrate a very high standard of staff training, operational procedure and management.
To encourage a healthy body and mind, free fruit is provided for all staff as well as additional leave days for work with a charity and/or in the community.
