Matthew completed his PhD based in developing laser sources for accelerator applications at The University of Manchester. He continued his work at the university as a PDRA before moving to develop laser sources for biomedical application at a laser company. For the last two years Matthew has worked at Trolex developing technology for the particulate characterisation division.
Real time characterisation of respirable crystalline silica in industrial applications
In this talk we discuss the advancements made in the world of industrial real time particulate characterisation. We focus on one of the most commonly found hazard in dusty environments, RCS, and discuss how we characterise this particulate in real time.
