CL:AIRE

Nicola Harries is a Project Director. She is secretary of the National Brownfield Forum and the Professional Standards Sub-Group which developed the National Quality Mark Scheme. She also performs secretariat duties for Sustainable Remediation Forum UK (SuRF-UK), SuRF - International and the Joint Industry Working Group for asbestos in soil and construction & demolition materials.

Nicholas Willenbrock manages the Definition of Waste: Development Industry Code of Practice (DoW CoP) for CL:AIRE.
Rob Sweeney is a Project Director at CL:AIRE and manages production of its technical publications. He also manages the Technology and Research Group (TRG) – CL:AIRE’s technical, advisory body.

Since its inception 20 years ago, CL:AIRE''s role and remit has expanded into many areas of sustainable land reuse. CL:AIRE will present its recent work and future plans for major initiatives and projects including the Definition of Waste Code of Practice and Asbestos in Soils. The session will also showcase CL:AIRE’s plans for collaborating more with industry to strengthen its role as the leading education provider for sustainable land management.
