The hidden danger of unsafe products: using asbestos unknowingly
Despite the EU-wide asbestos ban, we still come across easily bought, newly manufactured products containing asbestos daily. Recent examples: talc powder, makeup, crayons, industrial spraying grit. You can simply buy asbestos on the internet! Clearly, asbestos is still used in manufacturing.
Why aren’t we aware of this? Should we expect a new wave of asbestos victims related to household goods and industrial products? What can we do to prevent this?
